  • TRANSFORM YOUR GARDEN INTO A PERFECT GROWING SPACE: Create a perfect garden space to propagate seeds and grow your own with this walk-in greenhouse from Christow. Greenhouse measures H6ft 4in x W4ft 7in x D2ft 4in with space to walk inside when tending to your plants, flowers, fruit and veg. It’s great for using on lawns and patios.
  • STRONG & STURDY REINFORCED COVER: Cover consists of an internal grid sandwiched between two layers of polyethylene. It’s thicker than a PVC cover for greater strength, stability and insulation, but still allows sunlight to shine through to create the perfect growing conditions. It’s also UV-resistant to reduce fading and degradation from the sun.
  • HARDWEARING ROLL-UP DOUBLE ZIPPED DOOR: Designed with a roll-up door with zippers on either side to easily open and securely close. Simply unzip the door, roll it up and secure it with the integrated ties to improve ventilation and encourage pollination. Leaving it tied open also provides easier access when watering or clipping your plants and flowers.
  • 4 MESH SHELVES FOR PLANTS & FLOWERS: The greenhouse contains 4 mesh shelves with 40cm of space between them. If you’re growing plants that are taller than 40cm, you can remove a shelf to expand your growing space. Holes in the shelves allow pots to easily drain to prevent plants waterlogging. There’s also plenty of ground space to store compost and other essentials.
  • EASY TO ASSEMBLE WITH GROUND PEGS & GUYLINES: The frame features rust-resistant steel poles and plastic connectors which click-together for easy assembly. Once built, simply add the shelves and secure the cover using the integrated ties. U-clips, guylines and pegs allow you to secure the greenhouse to the ground for ultimate wind-resistance.

We purchased a lemon tree but it hated being inside over the winter. With a small patio area we purchased the walk in greenhouse to store it ( with warm covering ) to keep it outside over the mild Isle of Wight winters. We were very impressed with the materials used and it fitted perfectly. As you can see, we added wooden strips to the base and screwed the plastic on the inside to them. ( 2 inch x 2inch 2x 6 foot, 2 x 4 foot ) In the summer we will move the tree outside but the shelving will be very useful for bringing on other plants. A good purchase and easy to get into. If anything, larger than we expected.

I am positively surprised with this green house. Originally I didn’t want a plastic one but once I reviewed prices of timber/glass greenhouses I opted for plastic anyways. I bought it for my relatively small garden and it fits perfectly. It’s made well, even though it seems a bit flimsy. I used extra bags of compost on the bottom to hold it dow as I live on top of a hill and it’s super windy here. It’s stable and withstands the winds so far. There’s plenty of space on the shelves on both sides and the middle part for taller plants. It’s very light - again be careful with wind and make sure you anchor it. The zipper is working well so far, I though it will break easily but I’m very happy wit it. The tarp material has white checked patter on it which reduces the amounting sun going in, I though it would be great as there’s plenty of sun in my garden but this years summer proved me wrong. Will see next year if it will come handy :)

CHRISTOW Walk In Greenhouse With Shelves, Large Reinforced Green House With Tubular Steel Frame, 4 Shelf Heavy Duty Growhouse, 6ft 4in x 4ft 7in x 2ft 4in I found this greenhouse difficult to put together. Maybe that’s because I followed the awful instructions. The manufacturers could have done a better job than they did with those blasted instructions. In the description it says easy to put together in minutes. Well that was certainly not the case for me. Unfortunately it took me a good couple of hours, but I guess that was out of frustration as I stopped a few times to calm my frayed nerves. By the time I figured out how to put it together I was knackered. That aside when I finally put it together it looked great. Guess what! I had to take it apart as I had put it together in my sitting room due to the wet weather then had to take it half apart to get it out of my sitting room where I had put it together 😂 as the height and width made it difficult to manoeuvre. Once it was in the garden I decided to use tape to stabilise the joints which by the way did not appear to be that sturdy to me even though I had put all the poles in the slots correctly. You shake it and it wobbles all over the place and even when full of plants you can still wobble it a bit. Once I’d done that it was plain sailing putting on the cover (which seemed quite robust) the shelves, the anchors and the supports which I felt I needed to stabilise and secure the green house as it is rather light weight. I used some breeze blocks at the bottom to stabilise mine. The zip for the green house initially seemed stiff, but after a few uses it has eased and is a lot easier to open and close the plastic doors now. After deciding where I wanted to position it. I started filing it up with my plants. You can get a lot in there, but is just about accommodated my tomatoes plants on a table which fitted nicely in the green house as the plant and it’s stakes were too high for the shelves. The shelves don’t have enough space for plants that will get tall and they are a bit flimsy for heavy pots of any description. My medium size clay pots Caused the shelves to sag so I had to put them on a breeze block on the floor. The greenhouse is rather spacious and I’m very happy with it. I am still planning on reinforcing the seams as some reviewers have said that the cover can tear in high winds. The door unzips and rolled up when you want it open. It can be fastened with ties that are attached to it. Quite straight forward. My plants are very happy in three , but ensure that unless really cold that you roll open the plastic flap in the mornings to let some air in. I’m currently super happy with it and hope I remain so. Also planning on getting another one if it holds out throughout the winter. Value for money too! I’d recommend when opening the packaging that you don’t just take the pokes out of the bags and have them all over the place (my mistake) each bag with the pokes have numbers that will help you to assemble the greenhouse. I used pink post it’s so I could clearly see which pole I needed to use. I hope you found this review helpful

If you want something easy to put together and at a low price for a small greenhouse then this might just be the one. Every pole was in their own bag with A to E or something like that but just follow the instruction you can't go wrong. I had mine fitted under the hour. I did however buy some pipe clips ( if you not sure on the size just take a small section of pole to your DIY shop to make sure you get the right ones) and screwed them to the floor, 2 clips on both sides & 4 to the back & 4 on the front (2 each side of the door). This has made this a more stronger structure (it's not going to move). Managed to fit this on my own. If there was a small problem then all I can say was it was a shame that the ties that are fitted to the inside of the plastic cover wasn't really long enough inside on some corners it made it a little bit fiddly. The metal shelves are a little bit on the thin side but my bottom row I have added some wood on top of the metal so I can add some heavier pots. The door zip seems really good with the clip tabs at the top been a great little idea to keep the door open and out of your way for getting in & out of the greenhouse & the plastic cover is not a thin plastic which seems like it will last & take a battering from the wind. So far I have managed to grow a few good amount of seedlings. Let's hope that this will last for a few good years & see's through the winter with the wind. I would recommend this if you want to start of small or only if you have a small space in your garden.

Great little greenhouse, parts are all clearly labelled and easy to put together. The quality is far better than the green flimsy covered ones. After being so pleased with one we brought back in 2023 we bought another for our allotment.
