I was pleasantly surprised by how well made this is, for the price. It’s sturdy, when secured using house bricks around the bottom. It has flaps of material for the purpose. It takes a while to assemble the frame, I had to dissemble it at times as got the parts in the wrong place, which was my doing. Once assembled it’s quite decent. I bought this for delicate plants as my greenhouse isn’t ready yet.

Fantastic "semi-permanent" summer greenhouse. In the past I have used cheaper (£25) temporary greenhouses, which were the non-walk-in type. Those were rubbish, as they got buffeted so badly by the wind that nothing would stay on the limited shelving for long. After only 6 months the plastic cover was trashed. I have also used the much larger £60 "polytunnel" style that is at least twice the size of this unit, although it must be said that those do not include any internal staging what-so-ever, I had to assemble some myself from 2x4 and chicken wire. Whilst certainly better than the other cheapo type, the cover, being plastic still only lasted 18 months before it was full of holes and essentially useless! Finally I thought I would try this model. It has exactly the same cover type as the polytunnel I had, but is half the size (standard greenhouse-ish perhaps slightly smaller). The frame is pretty sturdy, basic metal tube, plastic fittings type, but it has staging built in (see pics). I have trenched it in either side, burying the lip of the plastic cover under the turf by 6mm. It would've been nice to have had a little more to play with but the cover is stretched fairly tight over the frame and I was worried I would rip it! I have also supported the 4 corners with old tiles I had knocking about, just to make the foundations a bit firmer and permanently fixed. So far I am extremely happy with it (been up about a week), it has weathered some fairly strong 90mph winds, without any of the plants being knocked off the shelves, but I doubt it could hold its own over a winter season, especially if we have many more like the last one! It does have cleats on the 4 corners so it can be secured in a rudimentary way, but I guess you would only need that if not trenching it into the ground, still better than nothing... I will update in a few months, once it has been properly put through its paces.

Good quality frame, and easy to put together. Cover very disappointing quality. Cover was in the packet inside out, very thin quality, no ties near the zips, so no where to stop the front cover flapping around or away from the frame, lots of ties to secure it to the frame. Had one of these greenhouse a 3 years ago, cover was a much better quality. Will be lucky if this cover survives a year and you cannot buy then separately.

The plastic greenhouse met my expectations, delivery was good. I can’t say assembly was easy, I would have liked extra shelves but overall I’m a satisfied customer.
