The media could not be loaded. At the time of this review you can get this three piece gardening set for around £13 There is one rough edge to the yellow plastic moulding on the set I received, nothing that can’t be fixed with a small piece at sandpaper it nail file.. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality especially the fork. A mouse had eaten the foam from the handle of my old one so this is a suitable and better replacement If you are thinking about buying a set, they do a three piece and a five piece set , if the price is okay for you the quality seems perfectly good to me.. I hope the video and review is helpful

For the price of this 5 piece gardening tool set, I had been expecting them to be much like the sort of cheap gardening set you would get from a supermarket or major DIY chain. However, I have been pleasantly surprised at how well-made and strong they are. They arrive in a beautifully decorated cardboard box, featuring line drawings of garden related objects, such as flowers, leaves, garden tools. hosepipes, secateurs, and wheelbarrows, etc. The box is quite compact, and would make a very nice present for anyone who likes gardening. I like the bright yellow and black handles, as it makes them easy to spot if you put them down somewhere. The handles are soft- grip, and have curves in all the right places, as well as being thick and chunky. This makes them feel really comfortable to hold. The metal tool heads are all much thicker than I was expecting, and out perfectly smooth and rounded. I've tried bending them, but they're absolutely solid, so these should last a good few years. All of the tools also have a hole on the ends of the handles, so you can hang them on a hook to keep them organised and tidy if you want to. This is a surprisingly good set containing all the basic gardening hand tools that most people would need. Good value for money, so definitely recommended.

That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.] I requested the ‘MAYHORY Garden Tool Set Including Hand Trowel Transplantedd and Cultivator Heavy Duty Cast-Aluminium Heads Gardening Kit’ to replace my worn out rusty trowel and fork. The set is better than I anticipated. The tools are light due to their aluminium construction, the handles are ergonomic and easy to grip with gardening gloves on. There is a hole in the end of the handle to hang them up, so I will always be able to find them quickly, hung up on the wall of the shed. This is the first time that I have used a cultivator and it is brilliant, really robust and not as heavy as it looks, not heavy at all in fact. The depth measure marks on the transplanter are clear and will be very useful for planting. The trowel is a nice size, strong and again very light. I think that for the price, at the time of this review of £12.99, this set of garden tools is excellent value for money, I am happy to recommend and use them. 5 stars.

I'm really impressed by this small garden tool set. I was expecting something much more basic and flimsy, but these are really strong and nicely made. They come in a simple box that's printed with a nice pattern - so could be given as a gift. The tools feel really solid, the rustproof metal is nice and solid - doesn't bend at all. They're typical hand tool sized about 25-30cm long each. The handles are very comfortable, quite ergonomic in your hand, and come with handy hooks. Overall I'm really impressed, and I think great value.

The 'MAYHORY Garden Tool Set Heavy Duty Cast-Aluminium Heads, Soft Rubberized No- Slip Ergonomic Handles 5 PCS' arrived in a printed box. Some of these tools are considerably more bulky than their steel counterparts. I am not sure about the extended hole in the handle, it is so deep that it will not attach to any of the rounded hooks in our shed, well unless I want the tool sticking out horizontally, leaving just one option of attaching a loop of garden twine to be used instead. As to the ergonomics of the handle that depends on the size of your hands and I have large hands. As the tools all have the same handle fitted I took one in my right hand and placed my thumb in the dip of the black area facing the aluminium of the tool and the tip of my thumb was where the yellow plastic started. I then wrapped my hand around the handle, each finger touching, and this is where the problem came in, my little finger went over the extended hole, causing it to stick out slightly, making extended holding uncomfortable. I believe if the hole in the handle had not been extended and had taken a normal curve to the end of the tool it would have been more comfortable to me, also it would have made the hole much shorter and more likely to fit the hooks in the shed for storage.

This is a very comprehensive set of hand tools - as a non-greenfingered person I think its probably more than I need as there at least a couple that I wouldn't even know how to use properly (over and above a trowel and fork - which are happily included of course) - but its a great quality set to use and surprisingly sturdy so they will all happily sit in my shed for years to come and will be used when required for essential garden maintenance ! The handles are very comfy to hold and individually not too heavy for anyone with any strength-in-arm issues. Super value for money - literally have not a negative word to say about them - excellent purchase.
